SP “Studio Mitkus” was created with ambition to be the best possible professional creative studio in Lithuania to develop and produce (short and feature) traditional animation, comic books and any other form of visual art.

Our studio specializes in creating concept art, character and background designs, storyboards, animatics, comic books and other types of illustrations.

Concept art is a form of illustration where the main goal is to convey a visual representation of a design, idea, and/or mood for use in films, video games, animation, or comic books before it is put into the final product.
„Colorscripts provide a roadmap for shifts in color, lighting, emotion and mood throughout a film.“ —Amid Amidi author of “The Art of Pixar”.
Storyboards are pre-visualization technique in which shots are sketched in advance and in sequence, like a comic strip, thus allowing the filmmaker to outline the mise-en-scene and construct the editing continuity before production begins.
An illustration is a depiction (such as a drawing, painting, photograph, or other image) that is created to elucidate or dictate sensual information (such as a story, poem, or newspaper article).
Traditional animation is a very hands-on process; 2D animation is accomplished by hand-drawing hundreds upon thousands of individual frames, color them, and then organize them in sequence over a background image. This requires a team of artists, cleanup artists, painters, directors, and background artists, along with the storyboard artists and script writers to work out the original concepts; for large-scale projects, the amount of time, labour, and equipment involved can be staggering.
